Find a Local Studio
Aerial art classes are available around the world, many offer introduction courses to get started. Search for circus schools, aerial or flow art studios and some climbing gyms also incorporate aerial recreation. Various apparatus in addition to aerial silks may be offered such as hammock, lyra, rope, straps or pole.
Find a Climbing Gym
Most climbing gyms offer clinics on how to safely top-rope belay, use auto belays or have an introduction to rope climbing course. These classes should include instruction on how to properly wear and use a harness.
Using Someones Gear
Every apparatus should be properly inspected by a trained rigger before use. We do not encourage using other peoples gear without permission. Extreme aerial arts is dangerous and can lead to serious injury or death. Please do not attempt without proper supervision.
